Big win for Croatia

As Toronto Croatia romped to a 9 -1 victory over Croatia Essen of Germany in the second game of their Croatian tournament at Croatia on Wednesday, there is certainly hope in the air for the Toronto team to move forward to the finals.

With temperatures in the mid 20s, Toronto Croatia played a strong game, taking an early lead which culminated in a hat- trick from Tomislav Ples, a pair from Boris Tomac, and goals from Robert Grnja, Hugo Herrera, Tihomir  Maletic, Marko Bedenikovic.

This exciting result for the Canadian team puts Toronto Croatia at the top of Group A  with six points. With one game upcoming against Croatia San Pedro from the USA, the CSL team needs only a tie to put them in the finals.
