At the same time, London City were being held to a scoreless tie by visiting Brampton Stallions at The Cove in London.
Caswain Mason opened the scoring for Croatia at the 12th minute mark, but Supra Portuguese tied the game at 29 minutes on a goal by forward Uariem Castro. Toronto Croatia goalkeeper George Azcurra was shown a red card just before the interval with the score 1-1 and Robert Fran took over in goal.
The home side went ahead at the 80th minute mark despite playing with 10 men when midfielder Hayden Fitzwilliams found the net and Mason struck his second eight minutes later to put the game out of reach, a 3-1 final score.
Croatia improve to a 3-1-3 record for 12 points, six behind league-leading Serbian White Eagles with 18 points, while Toronto Supra Portuguese remain winless and at the same time suffer their first league defeat following four ties and stand at 0-1-4 for 4 points at the foot of the International Division.
It was a scoreless but exciting encounter at The Cove in London with both the City and Brampton Stallions coming close on several occasions. Both goalkeepers, Ibrihim Hadzic for London City and Chuckwudi Osundube for Brampton were solid in goal, the major reason for a clean scoresheet.
