WIZARDS LOSE TO DYNAMITES, METRO LIONS TRIUMPH 2-1 OVER DURHAM, HAMILTON WINS FINAL GAME
Montreal's Gimoroto Maicol scored the winner with just two minutes remaining to give his side a 3-2 win over Ottawa Wizards. Montreal opened the scoring after 14 minutes, a goal by Santo Soriano Ramirez for a 1-0 lead at half-time. Ottawa tied the score 1-1 on a goal by Shurland David at the 54th minute mark and David Cloutier put the Dyanamites ahead after 69 minutes. Ottawa striker Kevin Nelson tied the game 2-2 at the 74th minute mark before Maicol struck the match winner. Metro Lions, presently battling the Dynamites for the runner-up spot in the Eastern Conference, kept their hopes alive with a narrow 2-1 win over Durham Flames. Paul Okuma and Carlos Redman scored for the Lions, after Jamoh Welch put Durham into the lead just three minutes after the kickoff. Hamilton's Ian Bennett scored twice in his side's 3-0 shutout over Brampton Hitman on Thursday and Leo Lavarito scored the third.
