ROGERS CUP PLAYOFFS UNDERWAY

The last game of the 2003 CPSL season was played on Tuesday night at Dufferin Clark when Vaughan Sun Devils defeated Durham Flames 3-1 to clinch the seventh and last playoff position.

At the same time on the other side of town, Toronto Croatia opened the playoffs with a 2-1 win over Brampton Hitmen at Victoria Park, but that result was overturned by the league and the game awarded to Brampton.

On Wednesday night, Vaughan Sun Devils knocked out Toronto Supra, 4-3 at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke, to put the Sun Devils in the semi-finals.

Seven teams moved into the CPSL playoffs, the top three from each conference and the host team of the Championship Weekend, which this year is London City.

Friday, October 3, 8.30 pm: WILD CARD GAME: London City vs Brampton Hitmen
