HAMILTON THUNDER CANCEL GAME WITH VISITING JUVENTUS PRIMAVERA TEAM

Hamilton Thunder of the CPSL's Western Conference have cancelled an exhibition game scheduled for Timmis Stadium in Hamilton on June 17.

But a game to be played two days earlier, on June 15 with Brampton Hitmen, is still on, says Hitmen owner Steve Nijjar, who also coaches the team.

"The visit of Juventus Primavera to Canada is still on," said Nijjar who obtained confirmation of this on Friday, June 6, from the U.S. agent in Des Moines acting for the team from Turin, Italy. Juventus Primavera, the youth team of Serie A champion Juventus F.C. is expected to arrive at Toronto on Friday, June 14 with a game scheduled for the following day at Victoria Park in Brampton. A further announcement is expected to be made on Tuesday, June 10.
