GAME REPORTS
ASTROS, SUN DEVILS DEADLOCK 1-1
North York Astros and Vaughan Sun Devils, both needing wins to move up from their lowly positions in the Western Conference and Eastern Conference respectively, struggled to a 1-1 tie at Esther Shiner Stadium in North York Monday.

Willy Giammarra put the Sun Devils one up at the 18th minute mark, a shot from just outside the penalty box that seemed to get away from Astros' goalkeeper Luciano Miranda. Kurt Ramsey of North York tied the score 1-1 10 minutes later, a goal that started from a free kick from 35 yards which Ramsey neatly tucked past Vaughan goalkeeper Rob Tilley. There were few scoring chances after that through to the 1-1 final score. Astros improve to a 1-7-4 WLT record for 7 points at the foot of the Western Conference and the Sun Devils pick up one point for a 3-7-2 record and 11 points in sixth place in the east.
